SHANNON LIEBEL
RYT 200, Owner

Shannon completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training with Yax Yoga Concepts in Virginia Beach, VA in 2013. In her youth, Shannon trained in artistic and acrobatic gymnastics, and she brings the playfulness of the sport into her practice. She strongly believes in the connection between mind, body, and soul, and this reflects in her Vinyasa style teaching. Although arm balances and inversions are often offered in her classes, modifications are always provided to make practitioners of every level comfortable during their practice. Shannon's classes are intended for all levels of yogis, encouraging practitioners to challenge themselves while listening to their bodies., and following their breath.
SUSAN GLASSON
RYT 200, Stand Up Paddle Certification, Relax and Renew® Advanced Trainer

Susan has a passionate belief that the practice of yoga benefits everyone.  All ages, all bodies and all levels of experience are welcomed and celebrated at her classes. She teaches an all levels vinyasa practice with emphasis on alignment.   A shoulder surgery and long recovery taught her to listen to her body and she encourages practitioners to do the same. Susan received her 200 hour Teacher Training Certification from Lake Tahoe Yoga School in 2013. In addition, she is certified as an Advanced Relax and Renew Trainer in restorative yoga through Judith Hanson Lasater and received her 20 hour Stand Up Paddle Yoga Certification from Lake Tahoe Yoga. She is a passionate world traveler and coordinates Karma Yoga Retreats in Vietnam and Cambodia. 

LIZ NORMAN​​
RYT 200, Retired RN, Certified Lakshmi Voelker, Chair Yoga Teacher, Radiant Child Yoga Certified

At the age of 59, Liz decided to give yoga a try.  Noticing a decline in her strength, flexibility and balance, she felt like yoga might be a way to regain some of her lost abilities.  Sure enough, she found that yoga was that and much more!   Liz felt an immediate affinity towards yoga and its many positive effects, and after four years of practicing, dove head first into a yoga teacher training program, so that she could further her own practice and share the gift with others.   
Liz is trained in a hatha style yoga, with an emphasis on proper alignment.  She is certified  in Lakshmi Voelker, Chair Yoga, and Radiant Child Yoga, and has taken trainings in restorative yoga,  meditation,  yoga anatomy, and many others...there is always a hunger to learn and grow!
As a retired R.N., Liz's passion is helping people lead healthier and happier lives through the joys and rewards of a committed yoga practice.  She feels that yoga is the fountain of youth - and can be found anywhere and everywhere doing headstands!
KRISTEN ATKINSON
E-RYT 200, Certified Massage Therapist, CA

Kristen is an outdoor enthusiast who shares her love of adventure, her passion for wellness and her instinct for fun with all who cross her path.   Kristen began her journey into wellness in 2004 as an eager student of yoga, pilates and thai chi.  The further she explored these wellness arts, the more she realized her corporate career was not in alignment with her goals and values. After some soul searching, it became clear.  Kristen left her corporate job, booked her flight to Costa Rica and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training.  Her background in yoga then led her into the field of massage, aromatherapy and energy medicine.
 While sharing a passion for healthy living, Kristen is also a bit of an adrenaline junkie.  She is an avid snowboarder and certified instructor.  She skis, surfs, wakeboards, waterskis, kayaks, paddleboards and basically loves anything water related- frozen or melted.
Kristen's yoga classes are inspired by her love of the outdoors.  They are geared towards building strength and stamina, creating flexibility in both body and mind while encouraging students to tune into their breath- both on and off the mat.

STEPHANIE DESTEFANO
RYT 200

Stephanie completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training with Diamond Heart Yoga in South Lake Tahoe, CA in 2017. Stephanie has been practicing yoga for over 7 years and she has extensive experience with Vinyasa, Anusara, Ashtanga, and Tibetan Heart Yoga. Her style emphasizes her belief in connecting the wisdom of yoga with an asana practice. Stephanie is a mother to two yogi children and she is a KAY(Kidding Around Yoga) Certified Teacher. While you can expect a challenging class from her, you are encouraged to listen to your body and discover freedom in the modifications she offers.
ERIN SPICER
RYT 200

Erin has been passionate about health, wellness and body awareness her entire life.  Starting with gymnastics and dance at a young age, Erin discovered yoga as a young adult and has maintained a consistent practice since 2005.   In an effort to gain more knowledge to be able to share this passion, Erin recently completed her RYT-200 training with Diamond Heart Yoga here in South Lake Tahoe.  She is trained in Hatha yoga focusing on foundational principles, with an added flare of Tibetan Heart Yoga philosophy.  Erin considers yoga as a lifestyle, rather than a workout routine, incorporating breath work, meditation, and philosophy into her practice and teaching style.  On any given weekend you can find Erin skydiving, skiing, road cycling, hiking, paddle boarding or playing with her dog.
